Moscow. May 25. INTERFAX-Exercises to repel an attack by saboteurs of a simulated enemy in the course of performing tasks for their intended purpose were conducted by combat crews of the S-400 Triumph anti-aircraft missile system (SAM) stationed on the territory of the Republic of Crimea, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Tuesday.
"As part of the anti-aircraft defense (air defense) exercises, the military personnel of the S-400 Triumph division worked out a set of measures to curtail positions and relocate to the reserve area under the cover of the Pantsir-S anti-aircraft missile and gun complex (ZRPC), "the message received by Interfax said.
As explained by the head of the information support department of the Black Sea Fleet, Captain 2nd rank Alexey Rulev, during the march from the positional area, the military column was attacked by conditional saboteurs. The soldiers of the security and defense units in the column repelled the attack and destroyed the "enemy".
"After the march, the combat crews of the S-400 Triumph division worked out a set of measures for detecting, taking control and tracking control targets with their subsequent destruction by performing electronic launches," Rulev said.
