The destruction of the targets by the Algerian "Pantsir-S1" and "Cornet-EM" was shown on video.
The network published a video from the recent exercises of the 2nd military district of the National People's Army of Algeria. They involved ZRPK "Pantsir-S1" and self-propelled ATGM "Kornet-EM" on the chassis of the armored vehicle VPK-233136 "Tiger-M" of Russian production. The anti-aircraft complex destroyed the drone, and the anti-tank hit the ground target.
Algeria ordered the first batch of ZRPK "Pantsir-S1" from Rossi back in 2006. The delivery of 38 vehicles and 750 anti-aircraft missiles worth more than half a billion dollars was carried out in 2013. The Algerian versions of the complexes differ from the "Shells" of the United Arab Emirates and Syria with more modern target detection radars operating in the S-band.
In 2014, Algeria and Russia signed a contract for the supply of 13 Kornet-EM ATGMs based on the Tiger-M armored vehicle.
