Calculations of the operational-tactical missile complex "Iskander" of the combined-arms army of the Eastern Military District (VVO) at one of the training grounds in the Trans-Baikal Territory took part in training with the implementation of tasks for the application of conditional missile strikes, as part of a single day of fire of rocket troops and artillery.
During the training, the rocket men marched to the positional area, performed the tasks of deploying launchers, transport-loading and command-staff vehicles, as well as carried out camouflage and engineering equipment of the positions.
The headquarters of the compound evaluated the ability of unit commanders to make independent decisions on the use of forces in various conditions.
They also tested the practical skills of calculations of launchers in preparation for firing and performing single and group missile strikes with electronic missile launches at targets simulating control points and the accumulation of "enemy" equipment.
