The newest battalion complex of electronic warfare (EW), which is in service with a unit of the combined arms army of the Eastern Military District (VVO), will be presented at the main site of the International Military-Technical Forum "Army-2021" in the Trans-Baikal Territory.
"Palantin" is a mobile complex of electronic warfare of operational and tactical level. He conducts electronic intelligence, suppresses existing and promising enemy communication systems.
The complex allows you to "blind" the controls of a conditional enemy in the short-wave and ultrashort-wave bands, create interference with cellular and other types of communication. "Palantin", if necessary, can combine various electronic warfare and electronic intelligence systems into a single combat network, which significantly increases the effectiveness of their use.
At the end of August this year, a large-scale International military-Technical Forum "Army-2021"will be held in the Trans-Baikal Territory with the participation of military formations and military units of the Eastern Military District (VVO). The main site will be deployed in the capital of the region – the city of Chita on the territory of the "Memorial of Labor and Military Glory of the Trans-Baikal People".
As part of the demonstration of weapons and military equipment, guests of the large-scale event will be able to visit exhibitions showing historical equipment and small arms, combat equipment and modern surveillance devices, aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles, modern samples of military equipment and technical means of the armed formations and military units of the VVO.
In total, about more than 100 samples of weapons and military equipment will be presented at the thematic sites of the military-technical forum.
