Roscosmos plans to launch 16 launch vehicles from the Baikonur and Vostochny cosmodromes by July 2022. This was reported on Wednesday, May 12, "RIA Novosti", referring to the data of the public procurement website.
According to the materials of the operator of the cosmodromes - the Center for the Operation of Ground-based Space Infrastructure Facilities (which is an enterprise of Roscosmos), three launches of a heavy-class rocket are expected in the period up to July 2022. These include: Proton-M and eight Soyuz-2 rocket launches from Baikonur, as well as five Soyuz-2 launches from Vostochny.
In addition, for this period, it is also planned to insure the launch complexes of the Proton-M missiles at the 200th site and the Soyuz-2 at the 31st site at Baikonur. It is noted that their starting amount will be 4.9 million rubles. While the launch complex of the Soyuz-2 rocket on Vostochny is equated to the amount of 7.3 million rubles.
Earlier, on April 30, it became known that the spacewalk of Russian cosmonauts Oleg Novitsky and Pyotr Dubrov from the International Space Station (ISS) will take place on June 2. It was specified that the crew members will have to prepare the docking compartment before the arrival of the laboratory module "Science", as well as replace the replacement panel of the liquid flow regulator of the thermal regime system of the functional cargo unit.
On April 28, it was reported that Roscosmos had ordered the development of a new-generation spacecraft, the Return-MKA-L, to send animals to the Moon. The deadline for preliminary work is November 15, 2022.
On April 23, Roscosmos Executive Director for Advanced Programs and Science Alexander Bloshenko noted that Russia plans to deploy the national space station in orbit until 2035. According to him, such a station will be assembled in two stages.
