Moscow. May 12. INTERFAX-Shvabe Holding presented devices for civil defense and security at the exhibition "Integrated Security-2021", which opened in Kubinka, near Moscow.
"These solutions cover two market segments - military and civilian. The participants of the salon "Shvabe" are introduced to the device for automatic indication of pathogenic biological agents "Detector-BIO", which was developed at the N. F. Gamalei Research Center of Epidemiology and Microbiology. The device detects toxins, bacteria and viruses. Its effectiveness was previously confirmed by state tests conducted at the Krasnogorsk plant named after S. A. Zverev (KMZ) of the holding, "the press service of Shvabe said in a statement issued on Wednesday.
Igor Novikov, Director of the state defense Order at Shvabe, notes that the Integrated Security Salon is the largest exhibition project at the federal level, where the holding company, in the interests of the Russian special services, shows modern solutions for ensuring state, transport and medical security."
"The latter direction was assigned the key positions of the exposition, which is explained by the epidemiological situation. At the same time, we do not ignore other industries - we demonstrate samples of equipment that use advanced laser, optical and optoelectronic technologies," Novikov said, as quoted by the press service.
According to her, the holding's stand, deployed as part of the exhibition, also houses devices "implemented in order to combat a new coronavirus infection - the IR236 infrared temperature measurement system with artificial intelligence and several classic thermal imaging recorders."
"In addition, the exhibition presents medical vehicles, including a special vehicle for the needs of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and ambulances, equipped, among other things, with medical equipment manufactured by Shvabe enterprises. The holding is working on the new project together with the company "Promtech",-said in a press release.
A series of new products inspection introscope-equipment for detecting prohibited items. "In one operation, it is able to scan luggage or mail weighing up to 160 kg without opening," the press release says.
"Two other interesting developments that Shvabe is showing in Kubinka are the laser course-glide landing system for aircraft in poor visibility conditions and the SWIR short-wave IR camera. The latter allows you to see camouflage coverings and detect camouflaged objects. In the spring of this year, it was tested in the Arctic expedition to Novaya Zemlya by representatives of the Russian Navy," the press service informs.
"In total, the holding company has brought more than forty developments to Kubinka. Among them are sights, observation equipment and night vision devices, " the report says.
The XIII International Salon "Integrated Security" is held by order of the Government of the Russian Federation from May 12 to 16 on the territory of the Patriot Convention and Exhibition Center.
