TSAMTO, May 11. In 2021, work will continue on the development and improvement of the objects of the training and material base of the training grounds of formations, military units and institutions of the Airborne Forces.
The main efforts will be focused on the construction of new training grounds for the Ivanovo Guards airborne unit "Blue Sedge" and the Tula Guards Airborne unit "Kolomensky", training facilities at the Golovenki training ground for the special purpose Guards unit of the Airborne Forces stationed in the Moscow region, as well as the improvement of the Airborne forces training ground "Strugi Krasnye".
In addition, work is underway to increase the capabilities of training grounds of formations and military units to conduct exercises of different levels, competitions in field training, combat training classes as part of battalion tactical groups, taking into account the receipt of promising weapons, military and special equipment.
In 2021, the main focus at the training grounds of the troops will be on equipping army tactical shooting areas, conducting training to combat unmanned aerial vehicles and high-speed targets, equipping directorates and tank airfields for training on incoming promising VVST samples, as well as creating areas for joint training of amphibious assault and helicopter units at all airborne training grounds.
In the interests of improving the training of sniper units, complex sniper camps are being equipped at the training grounds, which allow conducting classes in fire, tactical and tactical-special training.
The planned work on improving the training and material base of the landfills allows for high-level combat training activities at various levels, the Information Support Group of the Airborne Troops reports.
