Moscow. May 6. INTERFAX-Calculations of the S-400 Triumph anti-aircraft missile systems (SAMs) conducted exercises in the Pskov region to repel air attacks of a simulated enemy, the press service of the Western Military District (ZVO) reported on Thursday.
"In the Pskov region, combat crews of the S-400 Triumph anti-aircraft missile system of the Leningrad Army of the Air Force and Air Defense of the Western Military District performed combat training tasks to destroy cruise missiles and aircraft of a simulated enemy," the report says.
It is noted that the combat crews with the help of electronic launches of anti-aircraft guided missiles repelled a massive missile air strike of a simulated enemy.
"The program of training raids included the simultaneous impact on the anti-aircraft missile system of targets that are of increased complexity for combat calculations: ultra-fast, highly maneuverable, ballistic and targets flying at extremely low altitudes," the ZVO reported.
