According [...] to Reuters, Blue Origin will start selling tickets for the New Shepard spacecraft today. Among other things, information about flight times and travel costs will be made public.
According to analysts, the ticket price will be 200-250 thousand dollars. The ship can take six people on board. After the vertical launch, the capsule with people will separate from the launch vehicle and continue to climb by inertia to about 100-kilometer altitude, which can be considered the conditional boundary of space. Tourists will be able to spend a short period of time in a state of weightlessness.
In case of an emergency, the ship has an emergency rescue system. The capsule will land using parachutes. The launch vehicle is designed to be reusable: after launch, it must make a vertical landing.
