TSAMTO, April 28. A large-scale exercise with the Novosibirsk missile formation of the Strategic Missile Forces, which is armed with the Yars PGRK, ended in the Novosibirsk region. Large-sized equipment returned to the points of permanent deployment.
During the exercise, which involved more than 3 thousand military personnel and about 300 units of equipment, various tasks and introductory tasks were worked out, including performing maneuver actions on combat patrol routes, countering sabotage formations and intensive actions in the areas of troop deployment, countering modern and promising means of enemy air attack, as well as warning about the threat of their use in cooperation with formations and units of the Central Military District.
During the exercise, the strategic rocket scientists also worked out the tasks of making marches with a length of up to 100 km, dispersing units with changing field positions, their engineering equipment, organizing camouflage and combat protection.
A wide range of samples of advanced special equipment was used, including for engineering units, security and defense, and RKHBZ. To accompany the mobile ground missile system "Yars" on the routes of combat patrol, the latest remote mine clearance vehicle (MDR) "Foliage" was used, according to the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
