MOSCOW, April 21. /TASS/. The Court of Appeal overturned the decision to suspend construction work on the launch complex "Angara" of the Vostochny cosmodrome. This was reported to TASS in the press service of Roscosmos on Wednesday.
"The Sixth Arbitration Court of Appeal changed the decision of the Arbitration Court of the Amur Region of March 09, 2021 on the suspension of construction work on the object" Construction of the launch complex of the space rocket complex "Angara". As specified in the state corporation, the court of appeal imposed a fine of 100 thousand rubles. The representative of the Prosecutor's Office of the Khabarovsk Territory at the stage of appeal proceedings noted that the suspension of the construction of the launch complex is unacceptable.
"JSC" PSO "Kazan" together with the FKU "Directorate of the Vostochny Cosmodrome" prepared a schedule for eliminating the comments of the 119th Department of the Main Department of Construction Supervision, which was agreed by the State Corporation "Roscosmos", and taking into account the constructive position of the Ministry of Defense, submitted to the state construction supervision body," the press service added.
The state corporation stressed that Roscosmos and the Russian Defense Ministry are working together constructively to create a modern ground-based space infrastructure.
Construction of the second stage of the Vostochny cosmodrome began in 2019. It is planned to build a launch pad for the Angara-A5 rocket and related infrastructure. The work on the second stage is carried out by PSO "Kazan". The first launch of the "Angara" with the manned ship "Eagle" without a crew is scheduled for December 15, 2023.
