Tallinn. April 21. INTERFAX/ BNS-American F-15E Strike Eagle fighter-bombers will arrive on Wednesday for one day in Estonia for training flights.
According to the BNS news agency, with reference to the main headquarters of the Estonian defense Forces, the exercises in the country's airspace are aimed at practicing the interaction of pilots with aircraft pilots, launching airstrikes on the front edge and intercepting air targets.
The exercise area covers the vicinity of Emari Air Base, Saaremaa and Hiiumaa Islands. Fighter flights will take place at an altitude of at least 1500 meters.
The 48th Fighter Wing of the United States Air Force is stationed at Lakenheath Air Base in the United Kingdom. For the duration of the Agile Liberty exercise, the fighters were relocated to the 32nd air Base of the Polish Air Force, the city of Lask.
