The information support department of the Black Sea Fleet said that the frigate "Admiral Makarov", the small missile ships" Grayvoron "and" Vyshny Volochek", the air-cushion missile ship" Samum", the minesweeper" Ivan Golubets", as well as large landing ships left their bases and have already worked out overcoming the conditional minefield in providing the fleet's minesweeping forces.
- Further at sea, the crews of the ships will conduct single and joint test artillery firing at surface and air targets,-the press service of the Black Sea Fleet explained. - The role of the conditional enemy will be performed by sea shields-targets. During the maneuvers, the detachment of the Black Sea Fleet ships will work out various tasks for the purpose in accordance with the unified plan of the exercise.
The exercise will also involve aircraft and helicopters of the naval aviation and air defense fleet. The training is conducted in accordance with the plan of the control check of the Black Sea Fleet forces for the winter training period at the naval combat training range in the Black Sea.
On April 14 and 15, the US Navy warships Roosevelt and Donald Coo with guided missile weapons will pass the Bosphorus Strait, and enter the Black Sea, where they plan to stay until May 5 in Montreux.
