Emirates will receive the promised F-35

The administration of President Joe Biden told the US Congress that it will continue to sell weapons to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) worth more than $ 23 billion, including fifth-generation F-35 fighter jets, the deal for which was temporarily suspended after the arrival of a new team in the White House.

This was reported by the Reuters news agency, citing its sources in Washington.

An anonymous US State Department official said in an interview with a British news agency that the Joe Biden administration "will move forward with the proposed sales in the UAE, even though we continue to study the details and consult with Emirati officials."
