"This is an employee of TSAGI, not Fiztech. At Phystech, he only gives lectures once or twice a month for three hundredths of the rate, " TASS quotes MIPT Rector Nikolai Kudryavtsev as saying.
According to the MIPT website, Golubkin is a professor at the Department of Theoretical and Applied Aerohydromechanics.
As it became known earlier, according to the decision of the Lefortovo Court of Moscow, the MIPT professor went to jail for two months on suspicion of high treason. "We are going to appeal against the measure of restraint chosen for him in the form of detention," the defender stressed. According to the lawyer, his client is in the status of a suspect, he has not yet been charged. At the moment, the teacher is being held in the Lefortovo pre-trial detention center, the lawyer said.
At the same time, the interlocutor of TASS drew attention to the fact that these criminal cases of scientists are not connected in any way. "Valery Nikolaevich is a colleague of the physicist Gubanov, who was arrested earlier in the case of state treason. But as far as I know, they have different criminal cases, " he stressed.
On January 29, the Lefortovo court extended the arrest of the scientist Anatoly Gubanov until May 3.
