The three-hour flight plan of the Soyuz MS manned spacecraft to the International Space Station (ISS) is still a test flight, and it will become standard after three such flights. This was reported to TASS by the head of the ballistics department of the Rocket and Space Corporation (RSC) "Energia" Rafail Murtazin.
"After three flights of the Soyuz, it will be full - time, while it is a test, requiring full testing," Murtazin said.
At the same time, the ballistics expert clarified that it is already standard for Progress cargo ships.
For the first time, the Soyuz MS spacecraft flew to the ISS on a three-hour schedule in October 2020. Then he managed to set a speed record, flying to the station in three hours and three minutes. April 9 the ship "Yu. A. Gagarin" ("Soyuz MS-18") I also flew on an ultra-short circuit. It took him about 3.5 hours to reach the ISS and dock with it. In turn, the General Director of Roscosmos, Dmitry Rogozin, said that all the upcoming flights of cosmonauts will take place according to a three-hour scheme.
