Calculations of missile systems of the Baltic Fleet conducted a training on deployment in a given area on the sea coast.
As part of the exercise, the duty division of the mobile coastal missile systems "Bastion" left the place of permanent deployment.
Having made a secret march to the deployment area, the rocket men quickly took up positions on the coast, the information support department of the press service of the Western Military District for the Baltic Fleet told the Military-Industrial Courier. Then, with the help of radio equipment, the calculations made a search for "enemy ships" in the sea. After that, they successfully carried out electronic launches of anti-ship missiles at surface targets.
During the training, the crews of the complexes passed the standards for preparing and conducting a march to the designated positional area, bringing the complexes to battle, preparing for shooting and changing firing positions. They also worked out the tactics of using weapons in the conditions of airstrikes and the use of sabotage and reconnaissance groups by the enemy.
