Combat crews of the anti-aircraft missile and gun complexes of the ZRPK "Pantsir-S" struck the lightly armored vehicles of the simulated enemy during the exercises at the Ashuluk training ground in the Astrakhan region. This was reported on Thursday, April 8, by the Russian Defense Ministry.
The military department noted that after the march over rough terrain, the crews took their calculated positions and began to perform tasks.
"The combat crews used 30-mm anti-aircraft machine guns, providing a high rate of fire. Objective means of control confirmed the defeat of the targets, " the report says.
In February, it became known that the joint Center of Excellence of the NATO Air Forces (JAPCC) recognized the Russian "Pantsir-S" ZRPC as an ideal means of combating military drones.
