At the exhibition in the military technopolis "ERA" presented a new multifunctional robot manipulator. According to its creators, it, in particular, can become a good assistant for astronauts and Navy sailors.
The developers explained that their product is able to perform complex spatial operations with high accuracy and speed, for example, to work in orbit and at great depth. The advantage of the robot also lies in its small weight, high specific power and the ability to equip the manipulator with feedback sensors, including tactile communication.
It was equipped with technical vision systems that allow you to install this machine on mobile carriers as part of robotic systems, as well as on military and special-purpose equipment.
In the space sphere, this novelty can be used as a manipulator for the satellite inspector, maintenance, repair of orbiters, deployment and maintenance of space-based antennas.
As for the use of the robot in the Navy, the manipulator is suitable for working as part of autonomous uninhabited underwater vehicles and as part of complexes for conducting search, emergency and rescue operations. It can perform work at great depths, be used by engineering troops on various mobile platforms and when clearing terrain and objects.
In the ground forces, the novelty, according to its developers, is advisable to use as part of robotic systems to ensure the loading and maintenance of missile, artillery and rifle systems.
