In the Astrakhan region, at the Ashuluk training ground, combat crews of the latest air defense systems of the Western Military District during the exercise repelled rocket attacks of a simulated enemy. In the presented video, you can watch the combat launches of anti-aircraft guided missiles at targets that imitated aircraft and cruise missiles of the "enemy".
According to the press service of the ZVO, in the Astrakhan region, military personnel from the Leningrad region - the calculations of the S-300 PM2 "Favorit", S-400 "Triumph" anti-aircraft missile systems and the "Pantsir-S"combat vehicles-took up combat duty. They marched to temporary positions in the "infected" area, carried out a set of measures for degassing and masking equipment, repelled a missile and air strike under the influence of active noise interference.
But the main action of the exercise is anti-aircraft combat with combat launches of anti-aircraft guided missiles. In total, 10 highly maneuverable target missiles were used, simulating modern and promising means of air attack. They moved at various altitudes and speeds.
Objective means of control recorded the defeat of all targets. The military personnel of the Far Eastern Military District will return to their places of permanent deployment in mid-April.
