MOSCOW, April 2. /TASS/. The organizers of the Global Conference on Space Exploration, which will be held in June in St. Petersburg, sent an invitation to the event to the head of SpaceX, Elon Musk. This was stated by the executive director of the International Astronautical Federation Christian Feichtinger at a press conference on Friday.
"The invitation to Mr. Musk has been sent. We'll see if he accepts it. We will be happy to see him among our participants, " Feichtinger said.
The Global Space Exploration Conference was originally scheduled to take place in St. Petersburg on June 9-11, 2020, but in March, due to the coronavirus pandemic, it was decided to postpone it to September, and then the forum was postponed to 2021. This forum is held annually in different countries. This year it will be held in St. Petersburg from June 14 to 18.
