TSAMTO, March 26. The holding company "Roselektronika" of the State Corporation Rostec presented at the exhibition" Goszakaz-2021 " a comprehensive project to create a high-precision navigation and telecommunications system for the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation.
The solution works stably in the complex physical and geographical conditions of the circumpolar regions, is resistant to cyber attacks and provides continuous monitoring of the location of ships.
The surveillance, navigation and communication system offered by PJSC " Inteltech "of the holding company "Roselektronika" for operation in the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation is a complex of stationary and mobile radio engineering posts. Each post consists of several subsystems that provide work simultaneously in dozens of directions. The monitoring subsystem monitors the ice, hydrometeorological, radiation, and seismic conditions in real time. Telecommunications subsystem-communication in the VHF and HF bands, via FOCL, satellite, meteor and tropospheric communication channels. The navigation subsystem provides control of the ship's location by satellite or ground-based radio navigation systems.
Since 2019, the cooperation of Roselectronics enterprises, led by PJSC Inteltech, has been actively working together with Rusatom Cargo LLC of the Rosatom State Corporation on the creation and development of digital infrastructure for the Arctic zone. In particular, the holding companies have developed solutions for the management systems of Arctic container ships, transport and logistics hubs and the creation of a single information space of the Northern Sea Route transport corridor, which will unite situation centers, ships, hydrometeorological posts and cargo ports. To integrate ships into a single information and communication system, it is proposed to equip them with intelligent devices and telecommunications complexes based on artificial intelligence.
"One of the key areas of development of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation is the formation of an effective infrastructure of the Northern Sea Route. The solution presented by us will allow customers to solve the problems of communication, navigation, hydrographic and hydrometeorological support of the northern waters with minimal costs in the difficult conditions of the Arctic, reduce navigation and environmental risks, and improve the quality of management of territorial objects and systems of the Arctic zone, "said Yuri Nikolashin, General Director of PJSC" Inteltech".
The federal project "Northern Sea Route" as part of the "Comprehensive Plan for the modernization and development of the main infrastructure" provides for measures for the development of seaports and terminals, emergency rescue and auxiliary fleet, navigation, hydrographic and hydrometeorological support for navigation, the development of energy capacities, ensuring the safety of navigation and communications, the development of domestic shipbuilding, ensuring environmental safety, modernization of airport facilities, expansion of the network of meteorological observation stations.
