These days, Russian-Belarusian tank exercises are continuing in the Nizhny Novgorod Region. About 300 servicemen and more than 80 pieces of military equipment take part in them at the Mulino training ground. According to the press service of the Western Military District, joint actions in the offensive and defense will be worked out during the exercises, and the settlement will be stormed.
Tank exercises opened a cycle of several events that will take place on the territory of the Union State. So, from March 16 to 20, joint exercises of the Russian Airborne Forces and the Special Operations Forces of Belarus are held at the Polivno training ground in the Ulyanovsk region. The same exercises are held at the Osipovichsky training ground in the Minsk region. A joint battalion tactical exercise will be held from March 22 to April 2.
"The servicemen will work out the issues of organizing and conducting a march to the combat area under the influence of illegal armed formations and sabotage and reconnaissance groups of the imaginary enemy," the Belarusian Defense Ministry said in a statement.
