Dubai. February 28. INTERFAX-Tehran is not yet interested in a proposal to hold consultations in Europe on the Iranian nuclear issue, the Iranian Foreign Ministry said on Sunday.
"Taking into account the recent statements and actions of the United States and three European countries, Iran believes that the time has not come for an informal meeting with these countries," said Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatib Zadeh. His words are quoted by the Western media.
Earlier, the EU proposed holding consultations with the participation of Iran and the United States to try to outline ways to return to the nuclear deal between Washington and Tehran.
