The holding company "Roselektronika" (part of "Rostec") has started the first serial deliveries to the Russian Armed Forces of anti-tank defense control systems "Zavet", which increase the effectiveness of the fight against enemy armored vehicles.
This is reported by the press service of the corporation.
Rostec said that the "Covenant" provides target designation for anti-tank formations and allows you to organize the reflection of the attack of enemy armored vehicles. It is noted that automated control systems increase the efficiency of various types of weapons by 1.5-2 times.
The command and observation vehicle from the Zavet complex is presented at the stand of Roselectronics as part of the international weapons exhibition IDEX-2021, which is being held in Abu Dhabi. With the help of a remote radar and a reconnaissance optoelectronic system, it can find targets at a distance of up to 7 km and recognize them at a distance of up to 5 km. After determining the coordinates of the enemy and processing the data, the "Covenant" automatically distributes armored targets among the means of destruction.
The Zavet complex receives and transmits messages to subordinate and higher-level control points using radio communication and via wired channels. Its capabilities allow you to exchange information at a distance of up to 100 km. The data exchange takes place in a near-real-time mode.
