TSAMTO, February 24. In the training center of anti-aircraft missile troops of the Military Academy ASD them. Zhukov carried out work on the development of the teaching staff of s-350 "Vityaz" and the preparation of educational material resources to the training of military specialists.
The first set of the latest S-350 air defense system was delivered to the training center in early 2020, where the personnel of the units that will undergo planned rearmament will be retrained.
The capabilities of the S-350 system make it possible to effectively deal with all types of air targets, and first of all with cruise missiles.
The main features of the system are: all-angle shooting and increased fire performance (due to the use of anti-aircraft guided missiles with an active homing head); increased ammunition of anti-aircraft guided missiles (4 times more than in the S-400 anti-aircraft missile system); increased survivability (due to the use of 2-3 multifunctional radars in the division).
In 2021, the Aerospace Forces are planning to enter service with two regimental sets of the S-400 Triumph anti-aircraft missile system and 18 anti-aircraft missile gun systems of the Pantsir-S anti-aircraft missile system.
In addition, it is planned to re-equip the first anti-aircraft missile regiment with the latest S-350 Vityaz anti-aircraft missile system.
