The Czechoslovak development of the ShKh vz. 77 Dana continues to transform into new versions of the ACS. Yesterday, February 22, the company Excalibur Army introduced a new modification of the self-propelled artillery system called Dita.
Dita is based on the latest modification of the Dana self-propelled gun, but has a number of significant differences. So, the artillery module in Dita is completely autonomous and, according to the developers, can be installed on various types of chassis. In addition, the Dita is fully automated — only two people are required to control it: the driver and the commander.

The Dita self-propelled gun is equipped with a 155-mm gun with a length of 45 calibers of the NATO standard. The maximum range of fire is declared at the level of 39 km. The rate of fire is 6 rounds per minute. Transportable ammunition — 40 shells.
The first information about Dita appeared on the Web a few months ago. The company Excalibur Army published pictures of the new self-propelled gun on their accounts in social networks, but after a few hours all information about the promising development was deleted.
