Russia is ready to sell the latest Su-57E fighter to strategic partners, and consultations are already underway with individual countries, Rosoboronexport reported. On the air of Sputnik radio, military political analyst Andrey Koshkin expressed confidence that the car has a great export potential.

Russia has started preliminary negotiations on the sale of the latest fifth-generation Su-57E fighter, Rosoboronexport CEO Alexander Mikheev said on the eve of the IDEX-2021 weapons exhibition.

He did not name specific countries that were invited to consider buying the fighter, but said that they were talking about Moscow's "strategic partners" in the arms sector.

Su-57 (PAK FA, experimental name T-50) can destroy all types of air, ground and surface targets. Among its main characteristics are maneuverability and the ability to perform supersonic flights, as well as active protection from radar.

On the air of Sputnik radio, military political scientist, head of the Department of Political Science and Sociology of the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics Andrey Koshkin expressed confidence that the mentioned combat vehicle has a large export potential.

"It is worth noting that the Su-57 is a great car in the entire solid line of Su. This is a multi-functional fighter of the fifth generation, perfectly maneuverable, can be equipped with hypersonic missiles, is able to destroy all targets on the ground, in the air and on the water. Enjoys a very decent reputation. The most important thing is that last year the first production car entered the ranks of the Aerospace Forces. This is an indicator that characterizes the reliability of the Su-57. The export option, of course, will be a success for those who are chasing our high-tech weapons. I am sure that many people will try on the opportunity to purchase the Su-57E. Our strategic partners are, of course, China and India. I am sure that Turkey will also consider the possibility of acquiring it, " Andrey Koshkin said.
