Kiev. February 19. INTERFAX-UKRAINE-The command of the Ukrainian Navy discussed with representatives of the headquarters of Operation ORBITAL (Great Britain) the provision of training assistance and the main areas of cooperation.
"The purpose of the event is to deepen cooperation and discuss with representatives of the national fleet the criteria for training personnel of the Ukrainian Navy, directions for providing training assistance to groups of instructors of the armed forces of the partner states for 2021," the command's website says.
It is also reported that the parties discussed the expansion of instructor assistance for the flight crew of the marine aviation brigade within the framework of the UK military training mission in Ukraine "ORBITAL".
Separately, representatives of the mission headquarters proposed to conduct training of ship-boat personnel and inspection teams of the national fleet on ships of the Royal Navy of Great Britain in 2021.
