MOSCOW, February 8. /TASS/. Almost 40 new formations, regiments and military units were formed in various types of troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in 2020. This was stated by the head of the support of the Armed forces, the main types of armament, military equipment and other material means of the Main organizational-mobilization Department of the General staff of the armed forces, major General Alexander Dudkin.
"In 2020, 15 formations and military units have been formed and re-equipped in the Ground Forces alone, 17 regiments in the Aerospace Forces, four formations and military units in the Navy, and three regiments in the Strategic Missile Forces, "Dudkin said in an interview with the Krasnaya Zvezda newspaper published on Monday.
He noted that this is only a part of the indicators. "The work has been carried out colossally, its results are visible even to the naked eye," he stressed.
