MOSCOW, February 5/ Radio Sputnik. The Ministry of Defense of Belarus in October 2022 may receive the second batch of Su-30SM aircraft produced by the Russian corporation "Irkut", consisting of four pieces of equipment, the press service of the military department of the republic reported.
They noted that at present, the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Belarus and Irkut have signed contracts for the supply of two batches of aircraft, each of which has four cars.
"Fulfilling its obligations under the contract, Irkut delivered the first batch of aircraft in November 2019. The delivery of the second batch is planned for October 2022, " the ministry said in a Telegram message.
In 2021, it is also planned to conclude new contracts for the supply of aircraft.
Earlier, Sputnik radio reported that the Defense Ministry will buy new batches of Su-35S and Yak-130 for 100 billion rubles.
