According to KTRV, the RVV-BD long-range missile is designed to hit all types of air targets at any time of the day from all angles, including with multi-channel firing on the "let - forget" principle. The maximum launch range for some types of targets reaches 200 km. The weight of the warhead is 60 kg.
"In 2020, the state joint tests of the export long-range rocket RVV-BD were conducted, the design documentation for the product was assigned the serial letter "O1", - the publication notes.
According to him, " the documentation for the RVV-DB product was transferred to KTRV JSC to ensure the serial production and delivery of products."
In 2019, experts from the European defense magazine European Defense Review reported that the Russian RVV-BD missile being developed by KTRV is capable of hitting an air target at a very long distance, and "the tactical and technical characteristics of Russian ammunition are not inferior to those of Western missiles."
