The Ministry of defence of Kazakhstan, February 1, 2021 announced on receipt of the air defence Troops of air defense Forces of Kazakhstan's first multifunctional anti-aircraft missile system (set of division) 9К317Э "Buk-M2E", made the Russian JSC "EKO Concern "Almaz-Antey". It is reported that at present, the specialists of the concern are working on the delivery of the complex and putting it into service in the air defense forces of Kazakhstan.

On the part of bmpd, we recallthat in May 2018, the TASS news agency reported on the signing of a contract at the KADEX-2018 defense exhibition held in Kazakhstan for the supply of one division of Buk-M2E anti-aircraft missile systems in standard execution on tracked chassis, and that this division will be delivered to Kazakhstan in 2020. At the same time, it was reported that Russia and Kazakhstan are also considering signing a contract for the second division of the Buk-M2E, which is already made on a wheelbase.
