Sources in the security forces of Syria report that at the end of last week, the first flight of the military transport IL-76 arrived at the Russian military base in the vicinity of the city of Qamishli. Since the end of December last year, fierce fighting has broken out in this area of the country between pro-Turkish militants and Kurds.
