TASS, January 27. The Russian military department in Dagestan plans to build 59 social facilities by the first of September this year. This was announced by the Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Timur Ivanov at a working meeting with the participation of the acting head of Dagestan Sergey Melikov in the Republican Government House.
According to Ivanov, quoted by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, "the target task of this year in the field of capital construction is the implementation of the national project "Demography" and the state program "Development of Education", within which 73 social facilities are being built by the Military Construction Complex of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation."
In particular, by September 1, in Makhachkala, Kaspiysk, Kizlyar, Derbent, Izberbash, Buinaksk, as well as in 23 districts of the republic, including remote and high-altitude areas, military builders plan to build 59 objects. Of these, 13 schools for 6,882 students, 46 preschool institutions for 7,750 pupils, 35 of which are designed, including for children from one and a half to three years old, Ivanov said.
He noted that " the geography of large-scale construction of socially significant objects covers the entire territory of the Republic of Dagestan." "The construction of new facilities will additionally provide more than 17.5 thousand places for children in kindergartens, schools and nurseries," the Deputy Minister said.
Schedule of delivery of objects
Military builders have developed a schedule for the implementation of the project, which provides for the phased delivery of objects.
Currently, 19 facilities are at the stage of completion of construction and installation works, including 11 kindergartens for 1,000 places and eight nurseries for 1,850 places. The construction of 25 nurseries for 4.4 thousand people is planned to be completed in June. 12 general educational institutions are planned to be built before September 1. In 2020, military builders have already commissioned a number of facilities on the territory of the republic, including kindergartens in the villages of Kulzeb and Uchkent, one of the largest kindergartens with 250 seats in the Makhachkala microdistrict Ak-gel, a secondary school in the village of Endirei, the report says.
The Deputy Head of the military Department noted the need for joint work with municipalities and the Ministry of Education of the republic on the transfer of already built facilities into operation, as well as synchronization of construction and timely technological connection of capital construction facilities to the engineering and technical support networks.
Melikov, in turn, thanked the leadership of the Ministry of Defense for their support and attention to the republic and noted that "the most important task is to jointly complete the construction of facilities in a timely and high - quality manner."
Also, as part of a working trip to the troops of the Southern Military District, Ivanov inspected the progress of the arrangement of the mooring front at the base point of the Caspian Flotilla in Dagestan. Large-scale construction is underway here, piers, berths, service points, housing for military personnel and social infrastructure facilities are being built.
