Moscow. January 27. INTERFAX-UEC-Gas Turbines JSC is completing the execution of an order for the supply of four GTN-16R gas pumping units to Gazprom Dobycha Yamburg LLC, the press service of the United Engine Corporation, which includes the company, reports.
"Rybinsk JSC" UEC-Gas Turbines "has started shipping four gas pumping units GTN-16R with a capacity of 16 megawatts each for the second stage of the Zapolyarny oil and gas condensate field of Gazprom Dobycha Yamburg LLC," the company said in a statement on Wednesday.
According to the press service, the commissioning of gas pumping units at the Zapolyarnoye field will be carried out in 2021.
"The new units have been improved according to the wishes of our partners. Their design uses innovative solutions that increase the reliability and technical and economic performance of the equipment. For example, this applies to the principles of heating cycle air, " - said the Deputy Director General for Energy and Industrial Programs of the UEC Sergey Mikhailov, referred to by the press service.
It is reported that the GTN-16R is based on high-efficiency gas turbine engines PS-90GP-2 produced by JSC "UEC-Perm Motors".
