Moscow. January 19. INTERFAX-Exercises with combat calculations of S-300V4 anti-aircraft missile systems to repel an airstrike of a simulated enemy will be held in the Moscow region on January 21, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Tuesday.
"As part of the exercise on the protection of important objects in the Moscow region with combat calculations of anti-aircraft missile systems S-300V4 on a tracked course, training will be conducted to repel an air strike of a simulated enemy," the ministry said in a statement.
It is noted that the anti-aircraft gunners will march to the designated positional area, deploy the air defense system in unprepared positions, and work out actions to bring and receive a signal about the violation of air borders by a group of aircraft of a conditional enemy.
S-300V4 (JSC "Concern of East Kazakhstan Region "Almaz-Antey") - a modern complex on a tracked track. Refers to the air defense of the Ground Forces. Its tasks are the protection of troops during defensive and offensive operations, air and missile defense of military facilities.
