In the state Duma introduced a bill allowing you to assign a p. D. to police officers, Regardie, the defense Ministry and foreign intelligence Service. Today, there is such a possibility, but with reservations.
The authors of the bill, who were made by the chairman of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy Alexander Khinshtein and the head of the Duma Committee on Security and Anti-Corruption Vasily Piskarev, recall that, according to the law, state protection is provided to judges, prosecutors, employees of the FSB, customs and some other agencies, as well as their relatives. At the same time, no additional requirements are imposed on the tasks they perform in the service.
In relation to employees of the interior Ministry, Regardie, the defense Ministry and foreign intelligence service have mandatory additional requirements. For example, they should be involved in operational search and investigation activities, the protection of public order and the execution of court sentences, or in direct participation in the fight against armed crime or terrorism, as well as in special operations.
This puts the employees of these four departments in an unequal position. It is proposed, if necessary, to assign state protection to them without reference to any conditions.
