MOSCOW, Dec 3-RIA Novosti. Specialists of the Space Forces of the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) in 2021 provided the launch of 21 Russian spacecraft into orbit, the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
As explained by the agency, as part of the orbital grouping of Russian spacecraft today there are more than 160 spacecraft for various purposes. In the past year, the forces on duty of the Main test space center name Titov with high accuracy completed all planned sessions control of spacecraft of the Russian orbital constellation, about 60% is on management of ground automated control complex of Space forces VKS.
"Currently, the development of a new generation of command and measurement systems for the re-equipment of individual command and measurement complexes of the GICC named after G. S. Titov is underway," the agency specifies.
As explained in the message, the commissioning of unified command and measurement tools will reduce several times the list of modifications of technical controls of previous generations.
