A high-tech ventilation and air conditioning system for a strategically important facility, developed at the Kupol IEMP in a few months and shipped on time under the state defense order, was the first result of the Promkholod project. This organizational structure accumulates new competencies of the enterprise for the production of refrigeration equipment and is responsible for the development, production, sales and after-sales service of products.

The implementation of the Promkholod project made it possible to strengthen the intellectual and production potential of the Kupol IEMZ. The project created its own team of developers, which joined the list of scientific centers of IEMZ. Some of the key elements of the new refrigeration equipment are developed and manufactured at the enterprise, which provides additional capacity utilization.

Having successfully implemented the first stage of the Promkholod project, IEMZ Kupol launched a new product line for the production of industrial refrigeration equipment for the chemical, petrochemical, gas processing industries, nuclear power facilities and the Ministry of Defense. Regardless of the scope of application, refrigeration equipment belongs to the segment of civil products. Its production allows the company to even more effectively solve the task of diversification set by the President of Russia to the defense industry.

The production of refrigeration equipment "Dome" is developing on the new, seventh, production site-the former "three-hundredth production", which the plant acquired a few months ago for the development of civilian areas.
