In the Rostov region, combat crews of anti-aircraft missile systems "tor-M2" of the 150th motorized rifle division conducted tactical and special exercises. The targets were simulators of cruise missiles.
According to the press service of the southern military district, during the check of combat readiness, anti-aircraft gunners made a March to the positional area.
Calculations of the tor-M2 air defense system worked out the detection and tracking of various air targets, as well as fire control and firing with electronic launches of guided missiles at a range of up to 15 kilometers.
"The crew could track up to four targets simultaneously and observe the defeat in real time," the Ministry said in a statement.
More than 100 servicemen and 50 units of weapons and military equipment participated in the maneuvers.
