Ukrainian rocket men trained to launch missile strikes against a simulated enemy in the Kherson region. This was announced on Thursday, December 24, by the press service of the command of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Facebook page.
"At one of the training grounds of the Kherson region, classes are being held on the readiness of missile units to perform tasks for their intended purpose with the involvement of a rocket battery of the Smerch multiple launch rocket system, "the statement said.
In particular, the military practiced elements of preparation for missile strikes against certain targets of a conditional enemy.
According to the commander of the joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Serhiy Nayev, the battery quickly and smoothly took the starting positions. After that, she turned around and worked out accurate guidance on certain targets.
He added that at present, training sessions on the readiness of missile units are held weekly both during the day and at night.
