TSAMTO, December 24. The first digital automated radio relay station of the new generation R-419L1M has been delivered to the communications unit of the combined arms army of the Eastern military district (VVO), stationed in the Amur region.
It is mounted on the basis of an all-terrain vehicle KAMAZ-5350. In comparison with radio relay communication facilities of previous generations, the new station has a number of characteristics that significantly increase the mobility of communication nodes, as well as the reliability of communication lines organized on their basis.
The radio relay station is made on a modern element base, which made it possible to raise the reliability, ease of operation and maintainability of communication facilities to a new level. In addition to improving the technical and operational characteristics, the comfort of the crews has been significantly improved.
The digital automated means of communication that have entered service are designed to work in difficult climatic conditions and are highly resistant to the effects of electronic warfare. The crew of the new station has already been retrained and will start working during the next radio training, the press service of the Eastern military district reports.
