Yekaterinburg. December 24. INTERFAX - Combat crews of anti-aircraft missile systems S-400 "Triumph" for the first time will take up duty to protect the airspace in the Sverdlovsk region, the press service of the Central Military District (CVO) reported on Thursday.
"Combat crews of the s-400 Triumph anti-aircraft missile systems, which entered service with the anti-aircraft missile regiment of the Central military district, will take up combat duty for the first time on December 25 to protect the airspace in the Sverdlovsk region," the report says.
It is noted that within the framework of the solemn event, the personnel of the regiment will be read the order to take up combat duty, and the S-400 "Triumph" calculations will bring the anti-aircraft missile systems into readiness N1 and begin to perform tasks to protect the airspace in combat positions in the Ural air defense zone of responsibility.
Earlier it was reported that the calculations of new anti-aircraft missile systems successfully completed a refresher course for new weapons at the Training Center of the anti-Aircraft Missile Forces of the Military Academy of Aerospace Defense in the Leningrad Region. After retraining, the crews of anti-aircraft missile systems completed the program of initial combat firing at the training ground in the Astrakhan region.
It was also reported that the rearmament of the anti-aircraft missile system S-400 "Triumph" allowed to increase the combat potential of the anti-aircraft missile regiment twice.
