Russian radar stations (RLS) over the past week escorted 30 aircraft and six drones near the country's borders, according to data from the Russian defense Ministry, published on Friday, December 11 on the website of the newspaper "Red star".
"30 reconnaissance aircraft and six reconnaissance UAVs of foreign countries conducted aerial reconnaissance along the borders of the Russian Federation and were accompanied by Russian radars," the Agency said.
It is noted that these aircraft did not violate the state border of Russia.
On December 1, it became known that the first Container over-the-horizon radar station, which took up combat duty in 2019, confirmed its ability to detect low-profile aircraft at a distance of several thousand kilometers from the state border of Russia.
So, according to the Ministry of defense, since December 2019, it has detected and determined the trajectory parameters of strategic, reconnaissance and tactical aircraft, including flights of low-profile fighters of NATO countries.
