Ultralight tactical vehicles are finding more and more buyers in the world. Yesterday, November 30, portal armyrecognition.com reported that the German defense Ministry announced the signing of a contract for the supply of vehicles based on Polaris MRZR for special operations forces.
The basic contract includes the delivery of 65 vehicles based on the Polaris MRZR-D4. The contractor company will adapt buggy SUVs for the needs of the Bundeswehr special forces, as well as equip them with special equipment. Deliveries will begin next year. At the same time, the need for German special operations forces is estimated at 148 vehicles.

The Polaris MRZR 4 is an ultralight tactical vehicle. The car was created by order of the US Department of defense, is in service with the us army and marine Corps, and is also exported. Being light and compact, the Polaris MRZR 4 can be carried in a Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey tiltrotor and a Boeing CH-47 Chinook helicopter. The variation for the Bundeswehr will be based on a 4-seat chassis.
