MOSCOW, December 1. /TASS/. Roscosmos created a control and audit group to exclude misuse of funds and acceptance of low-quality work during the construction of the Vostochny cosmodrome. This was reported to TASS in the state Corporation.
"A permanent control and audit group has been established, whose activities are aimed at suppressing the facts of acceptance of poorly performed works, preventing misuse of funds allocated for construction, and ensuring compliance with construction deadlines," the state Corporation noted.
Monitoring of the construction site is carried out using satellites and aerial photography. Since August, the Executive Director of Roscosmos for capital construction and technical re-equipment of the industry, the Director of the Department for coordination of work on the construction of the Vostochny cosmodrome and other representatives of the state Corporation have been constantly at the cosmodrome. They will promptly solve problematic issues and supervise the construction work.
Every month, Roscosmos CEO Dmitry Rogozin visits the construction site and holds Meetings with representatives of the city of Tsiolkovsky, the Ministry of internal Affairs, the Ministry of emergency situations of Russia, the FMBA and the Prosecutor's office of the Vostochny cosmodrome.
Arrests in the case of the surrender of objects
Earlier, the Kommersant newspaper reported on the arrest of the head of the Vostochny space center, Roman Bobkov. The investigation accuses him together with the chief inspector of the 119th Department of the state architectural and construction supervision of the Ministry of defense Dmitry Fomintsev of fraud with the delivery of water intake structures at the Vostochny cosmodrome. The press service of Roscosmos told TASS that the state Corporation does not comment on this information.
Later, Roscosmos reported that Rogozin dismissed the General Director of the fku "Directorate of the Vostochny cosmodrome" Yevgeny Rogoza and reprimanded the General Director Of the center for the operation of ground-based space infrastructure objects Andrey Okhlopkov and the chief engineer of this organization Vladimir Zhukov. On Friday, Ruslan Mukhamedzhanov was appointed acting CEO of TsENKI. As reported by TASS in Roscosmos, Andrey Novikov was appointed the new head of the Directorate of the Vostochny cosmodrome instead of the dismissed Yevgeny Rogoza.
