Expert: a Single digital space in Russia can be created by 2025

Russia should consistently follow the path of creating a single digital space, where there will be a barrier-free exchange of data between departments and systems. Such a digital ecosystem may well be created by 2025. This opinion was expressed by the Director Of the Department of transport transformation of the Ministry of transport of the Russian Federation Dmitry Bakanov.

According to him, it is necessary to think about how to make the most effective use of all the systems that currently exist. There are already such systems as ERA-GLONASS, Platon, System-112, a system for tracking transit through the territory of Russia based on navigation seals. Digital conversions are also underway to convert paper documents to electronic format.

There should be a rapid exchange of information between the systems.

In a number of areas, integration will take place quite quickly, I think, in 2022 through the digitization of documents. And globally, we also need to go to this, I think 2025 would be an ambitious task. Here, first of all, it is necessary to agree on an interdepartmental level, " Bakanov said.
