American bloggers tested homemade shotgun bullets weighing 1050 grains (about 68 grams). Surprisingly, the "Tsar-bullet" behaved as stably as possible, shooting was characterized by high, but controlled recoil, and the speed reached 340 m/s.
The authors used three types of ammunition and fired from a distance of 15 yards (13.7 meters) and 50 yards (45.7 meters). In the first test, the bullet did not penetrate the bulletproof vest, it got stuck in it, but the dummy was seriously damaged. It is not a fact that a person who received the same injuries would still be alive.
The second target was a 4.5-liter ice canister, which the bullet tore completely. The third was a wooden bowling pin. The bullet did not go through it, but it left a deep hole and split the wood. A hole was left in the lead disk after testing: the bullet almost went through him.
For the next test, the arrows removed the wad from the cartridge. The bullet behaved stably in this case as well. The authors of the video were satisfied with the test results.
