The Latin American and Caribbean Space Agency (ALCE) has four new members. This was announced on Monday evening, November 16, on Twitter, Mexican foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard.
Alce was joined by Bolivia, Ecuador, El Salvador and Paraguay.
"Colombia and Peru also participated as observers. Already eight countries - including Argentina and Mexico-are building ALCE by 2021. We have grown four times in a month, " he wrote. The foreign Minister reminded that the Agency will start its activities next year.
Mexico and Argentina agreed to start working on the creation of a regional space Agency on October 9.
